Poly Advisory were approached by a leisure centre which had issue from the date of construction for a 5year period with on going leaks from 1st floor shower rooms. All sorts of solutions were tried but couldn’t stop the water leaking through to the ground floor looking unsightly and damaging the building.
As a solution we stripped out all the cubicles and set aside. The existing stainless steel drainage channels were cut out and the PASChannel composite drainage channels were installed bedded on epoxy adhesive. The floors were prepared, screeded and laminated with the PASLAM membrane extending up the wall skirts. The PASBEAD floor surface was then laid throughout, the walls clad with PVC cladding sheets then the cubicles all reinstated.
Following completion of this work there has been no further leaks. Poly Advisory also tank 1st floor shower rooms on many new build leisure centres prior to tiling to ensure there are no leaks and therefore no warranty issues for the main contactor.
