PROJECTS

Wellingborough Swimming Pool

Poly Advisory were approached to get involved with a project where there had been numerous underwater repairs due to poor construction and the tiles continually failing and falling off.

The architects specification was to remove all the failing tiles, render and screed to expose the concrete structure. As a more cost effective solution it was decided to re-screed and render before installing our PASLAM epoxy lining membrane as an alternative to tiles.

Poly Advisory took control of the site and stripped the complete pool tank back to the concrete structure. The tank was then set to ensure 25m length within regulations before being rendered and screeded using specialist Ardex products by our Ardex trained operatives.

Once rendered/screeded the tank was lined with our PASLAM lining membrane. A composite finger grip edge detail was fitted and PASBEAD non-slip quartz applied to the coping edge and integral steps to the learner pool.

White Epoxy topcoats along with lane and demarcation lines were applied to complete the lining installation.

All works were completed within the project timescale and in budget with no extras to the client.
