Solid HDPE Plastic Access Covers

Over time most leisure centres struggle to lift access covers for maintenance due to corrosion in the stainless steel from chlorinated water and the weight of the lids. Most conventional lids are stainless steel filled with concrete or screed then tiled on top which results in a very heavy lid. This results in damaged tiles around the frames which can be dangerous and unsightly.

Poly Advisory manufacture bespoke HDPE access covers and frames to suit any size in a range of colours. They are manufactured from 40mm thick HDPE plastic and machined with Anti-slip hatching in the surface.

We also offer an installation service, generally out of hours to avoid disruption. The existing corroded covers and frames are cut out and replaced with the new unit bedded on two-pack Epoxy adhesive with an Epoxy grout joint to the adjacent tiles.
